Using free press releases to get the word out about your business and to create some powerful links to your website (which can only increase your rank in the eyes of the search engines) is widely known in the online world. However many offline businesses do not know about it or understand how it works. So I am always on a mission to educate my clients about this strategy. You can build valuable assets on the internet that give you near term boost for your site but also creates long term assets that help your traffic and rank for years to come.
In order to help local businesses out we found a good list of free press release sites where you can submit your press releases. They are pretty simple and easy to navigate and submit to, however if you should desire there is always the option to automate or outsource this task.
So, here is the list, ordered by Google PageRank. The links lead to “Add/Submit a Press Release” or “Register” page.
